1890s Windsor Banjo
This English made Victorian era banjo is an absolute delight. It originally
belonged to a vaudevillian entertainer at the turn of the century. We
purchased it from his granddaughter and lovingly restored it to it's current
state. The Windsor Instrument company was the oldest commercial manufacturer
of Banjos, until 1941 when the factory was bombed during the war and destroyed.
This banjo implements an ingenious design where by it can be used as a
four, five or six string banjo.
