1910-15 Parlour Guitar This early 1900s parlour sports solid mahogany back and sides and a spruce top. It is warm and clear, articulate and defined. Lovely fingerpicker and for any single note work, with surprisingly good sustain and volume. As usual with guitars this old this one has had the full rebuild, from the inside out. Actually now I think about it, this guitar draws best comparison to the old Gibson that David Rawlings is often seen playing, lots of attack and very responsive. |
